KitePeople is a kitesurf station located directly on the beach of the Mövenpick Resort El Gouna. The rooms of cluster 1 & 2 are directly behind / beside our station, so make sure you mention this to your tour operator when you book the hotel, then you are able to see the spot from you balcony or terrace!
Our lagoon is a shallow water area form ankle to hip deep water, depending on the tides. Wind is dominantly side-shore from the north.
The first part of the lagoon is a big sandy area for students and beginners. At the border to the deep water there is a coral reef that makes the water in the lagoon nice and flat and keeps the chop away.
Advanced riders can ride in the deep water, approximately starting 400 m after the beach. In the deep water our rescue boat is taking care of you, in case you need assistance.
The specialness of ours is the second sand bank which you can reach within 2 minutes just riding straight out. On this bank you can find big areas with beautiful colored corals, stones and also big sandy parts with shallow water, this is a great way of exploring the red sea with your kite.
