Founded from humble beginnings back in 2004, KitePeople is one of the pioneering kitesurfing school’s in Egypt. Located on the grounds of the five star Movenpick Resort and Spa, you will have the luxury of being based a short walk from one of the best kitesurfing hot spots in the world. No need for taxis every day, just take a 2 minute stroll from your room to our fully equipped station and enjoy the wicked winds and flat waters of the Red Sea.
At KitePeople, our target is to provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment for kitesurfers of all levels. We aim to inspire you to pursue your passion for kitesurfing through expert instruction, state-of-the-art equipment, and a supportive community. Our goal is to foster a lifelong love for this thrilling sport and to help our students develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to safely enjoy kitesurfing for years to come.

As our name suggests, it is our People that make the difference. We truly believe our people and culture sets us apart and is the reason we have been successful for almost two decades. The team at KitePeople kitesurfing school in Egypt is made up of highly experienced and dedicated kitesurfers who are passionate about sharing their love for the sport.
Our instructors have years of experience in the water and a deep understanding of the sport, which they use to create a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment for all of our students. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced kitesurfer, our team will work with you to help you achieve your goals and reach your full potential. Our friendly reception team are there to check you in and answer any queries you have during your stay with us. Last but not least, the team of beach boys ensure your equipment is looked after, help you launch/land and keep an eye on your safety from the rescue boats.
We foster an atmosphere of inclusiveness and camaraderie, where all students are encouraged to support one another and learn from each other.
Booking with KitePeople is simple and quick. It can all be done from the comfort of your couch with a few clicks on our website.
Click ‘Book Now’ in the top right corner of any page. Follow the steps to choose the activity your wish to book and your preferred dates. You can to pay a booking deposit (15%) or pay later when you arrive at our reception
Within a few minutes of booking, you will receive an email confirming your booking.
The confirmation email will have a registration link, which you should compete for each guests before arriving. This will save you time at check-in and help us prepare for your visit.
Now get yourself to El Gouna (we recommend by plane). When you arrive, please visit the front desk to check-in where we will create your timetable and assign you to and instructor if you’re a beginner or get you set up with equipment if your renting.
Mohamed A. Rahman is our Station Manager. Mo’s journey into watersports began as a simple hobby in 1990, evolving into a lifelong passion as of 1997 that has shaped his career. With more than 20 years experience managing kite stations, Mo has gained certifications from renowned organizations like IKO and VDWS, where he holds positions as an IKO assistant trainer/examiner, and VDWS instructor level 2 and station manager, notably growing with IKO from its early foundation years starting 2003.
Mo ensures that every guest receives top-notch instruction, experiences the thrill of the sea, and enjoys warm hospitality, all while prioritizing safety above all else. With Mohamed at the helm, our kitesurf station promises an unforgettable adventure for enthusiasts of all levels.
Interesting Fact: Mo is one of first ten kiters to complete 1,000-kilometer downwind journey along the Australian coast from the Gold Coast to Sydney in 14 days..
